Here begins the story of Eogelwulf.
Eogelwulf was born in the year 2750 T.A. in the Eastemnet of the Mark. His father was a nomadic farmer and herdsman on the plains. He was brought up around horses and weaponry from the very beginning. He was already a better rider than most of the Eorlingas of his age by the time he was ten. When he was fifteen his father was killed by a pack of wild wolves while out hunting. He could not continue with the nomadic lifestyle as he was his father's only son, so his mother and sister went to live in one of the few settlements of the Eastemnet and he went west to try to join the army of the King.
