Dear Mother and Father,
The last GDF I went to was just as fun as usual, and Jardic even asked me to dance, which I only did because it would be rude to refuse. Master Simbo was in charge since miss Lina had other business. So of course bagpipes were played!

I do believe I am getting used to the sound of them, they didn't seem quite as harsh and shrill as normal. Jardic seems to enjoy bagpipe music very much. I can only hope he doesn't decide to learn to play them. I don't think I could handle that along with the rest of his mischief.

Speaking of Jardic's mischief, I was rather ill the past week, so not been out and about as much as usual. I even missed Master Ponso's invitation to his Museum of Hunting and Fishing because Jardic got the mail and carelessly dropped it. It somehow landed under the doormat and I didn't find it until just the other day when I was sweeping the doorstep. It really makes me wonder if Jardic does it on purpose, though when I ask, he says he really doesn't. So I don't know what to think. I do know it's making me angry at him, so I have decided to teach him a lesson. I shall take him to the Haunted Burrow and pretend to get lost there. Then I shall sneak away and leave him behind and see how he likes that!
At least Jardic now has a pony, so he can keep up when we go to GDF. He hasn't named it yet, but it's a sweet little thing. We went to Tuckborough, to Farmer Took, who I heard had ponies he wanted to sell.

Jardic tried riding them before making his choice. The first one was a grey pony which threw him off almost as soon as he climbed onto it, which I admit I chuckled at. The second, which was brown, was much calmer and sedate so he bought that one. Of course Jardic didn't have any money to pay for the pony with him, so I ended up having to pay Farmer Took. I wonder if I'll ever see that coin back? If I don't, all the more reason to leave Jardic alone in the Haunted Burrow!
Your loving Zara
