A Nightmare's song of the Sea.

As he wanders into sleep he hears a song of voices inside his mind, though a sad and long song he could only recount the last of it when he woke.

To westwards bound we sing Jalalalo,
Navigate by Sun and Stars,
Raise thine sails,
Helmsmen take thine helm,
Homewards bound we sing Jadidadydo,

Where art thou o wandering star?
Doest thou not light our paths from miles afar?
I was warned but took no heed,
Why did I decide by ship’s way home?
If only I had to their pleads concede,
Alas friend and kin need wander lone,
For within the icy deeps,
Ill tiding creeps,

To westwards bound we sung Jalalalo,
Navigated by Sun and Stars,
Raised thine sails
Helmsmen took thine helm,
No longer Homewards bound,
We sung …….
No…….
