A young adventurer's lullaby

Now it’s time to go to sleep,
Into our dreams we creep,
As you listen to my rhyme,
Close your eyes,
See your own paradise,
Which adventure lay ahead this time?

Riddle with dragons in their golden hoards.
Climb on rose ladder to the cloud giant forts,
Or sail upon the ocean,
If left to mind’s devotion,
When you lay down your head,
In your warm bed,

Whether you’re home,
Or on the road,
Off on a roam,
No matter how many miles you strode,
Let it not keep you from your mind’s quest,
For you are ever in need of rest,

Let your thoughts escape,
As a new landscape takes shape,
Let us no longer delay,
Tread on through the fray,
Journey boldly without fear,
For at morning’s light we safely wake you here.
