A life to the stage.

Born in the highest of noble families in Edoras, one would assume the life of Cel, the informally polite and possibly, insane, actress was all charmed, and handed to her. In a way, you'd be right.. But it seems the more you dig up, the less you really understand.. Daughter of land tycoon Eosin, and his wife Amey, Ceylo was not a girl of peasant living. She had the big house, two dogs, bodyguards through the city, a private teacher, all the dresses and robes she wanted, but it was all at the expense of her social life. She grew up under her fathers ever watchful gaze, she rarely socialized or got to know anyone longer than a few hours, when Eosin's friends brought their children to dinner parties. Alas, she needed something to do in her many spare hours. Despite loving her parents dearly, by her early teen years she could not bring herself to remain under their rules, and thus, Cel, the actress was born. Around the age of twelve, she started sneaking from her home when she got the chance, and going toward the lesser part of the city where she met a girl, who was on the opposite end of the social ladder, Called Moraina. Knowing already the opinion of nobles from the peasant class, she decided it best not to tell her first name, which would be known immediately. Fortunately, her isolation lead none to know her face, and she thusly introduced herlself as Cel. Moraine and Ceylo's persona were great friends for a couple of years, Cel would frequently sneak from her home simply to meet up with her around town.. The downside to such, was that with living a lie, sometimes things can slip out that are not intended. Cel made the mistake f talking herself up as a horse master for three years, so Moraine thought it good to enroll her, as her persona, into a jousting competition. Left with no other option, Cel found herself strapped onto a horse with a lance and a shield, in an amateur jousting contest. Despite having only average experience for a Rohirrim in terms of horse riding (still above average, by the standards of other lands) she managed to score a lucky blow on two opponents, faltering on a technicality in her third round, which would have otherwise resulted I'm making it to the final round. Before she knew it, she had people trying for endorsements, trying to get her into a professional circuit, simply because she was such an under dog. Throughout it all, she forgot who lead her there in the first place.. And who she was.. Her parents, of course, found out, when they started seeing sketches of her throughout town, labeled, "Cel, Mistress of the Lance". They were not sure what really to think, and from that moment became distant to her, usually only giving her arttention on her birthday, or on other holidays. It was bitter sweet for her to become more involved with tournaments. Though, her first six pro matches in a row resulted in miserable failure, she managed to pick up on a long and lucky winning streak for thirty matches strait. By the age of nineteen, she had won forty six matches, and lost only eleven. However it grew boring, she was known under a mask. It was then she started again as an actress, and met her husband, Nedley.. Being the well known figure she was, getting the second lead in a local play was easy. She found she was exceedingly good at pretending, perhaps because of her experience with Moraine.. By the end of her third or so performance, she was approached by Ned, who at the time seemed perfect - wealthy, charming, good looking, all of it. He even managed to become closer to her parents than she did, which resulted eventually in the two getting married. That is where it took a turn fir the worst. Ned simply wanted a connection to her father, for wealth, and his heart seemed to blacken in an instant. Cheating, lying, and abuse was what followed, yet it seemed no one believed Cel, since she was "probably just being dramatic".. Cel found her old friend Moraine again, who was still in the same social standing as before, it was then she came clean about her whole past, and her name, and then even talked about Ned. Though stunned, Moraine forgave her friend and decided to assist her in a plan to get rid of him. Making use of a pig carcass and a ratty dress, she was able to fake her own death. Cel pointed the finger at Ned, and ultimately resulted in him being put in prison for tue murder of a woman he'd never met. Cel and Moraine met up afterwards, said their goodbyes, and went separate ways - Moraine now with a good bit of coin from the man that 'killed' her.. It is this that lead Cel to Bree, no longer able to face Edoras.. It is why she does not use her birth name.. And it may also explain why she has a few social disorders...
