Answering Fingolfin's call to pursue Fëanor to Middle Earth, Tianne's grandfather Túrelango bade farewell to his wife Cuivemel, heavy with child and sent her back to the safety of Tirion. It is not known what fate befell Túrelango after he crossed The Sea of Grinding Ice with the host of Fingolfin, but it is the testimony of his kin that he fought bravely in many battles but fell during the Battle of Unnumbered Tears.
Tianne's father Arátohon was a little undisciplined growing up without a father, somewhat mischievous and unruly at times. He remained close to his Mother and surrounded himself with many inspirational Eldar absorbing all that he could from them. Before long, he was a skilled weapon smith and quite handy at wielding a blade, quite embittered, that his father was somewhere fighting in a war that had so far kept them apart.
When the Valar answered Eärendil's plea to aid the people in Middle Earth and send Morgoth through the Door of Night, Arátohon shunned his mother’s wishes and left with the great host. He fought bravely alongside his kin against the Monsters of Morgoth in the War of the Wrath. Injured in the last days of the war he was taken to Lindon, recognizing Gil-galad as his King.
It was in Mithlond that Tianne's father met Tira. Tira was a shore land elf of the Falas, with raven black hair and azure blue eyes. Attracted by her beauty, playful nature and feisty spirit he asked her to court him. After a respectable period of time they married but not with the entire blessing of her kin. They bore two children, Aldaraen, and two years later Tianne. Both were headstrong younglings and did not find favour from many of the Falathrim who were already suspicious of their father’s lineage. The two elleths were inseparable growing up, quite insular and protective of one another. By the time she reached maturity Aldarionn's beauty was beyond compare attracting adoration from the young elf sires, and with it the envy of many of the elf maidens. Tianne, loved her sister dearly, but always felt in her shadow and that was to mould her insecurities around her own appearance.
Enjoying the attention she received, Aldaraen spent much of her time in the company of the Sires, in particular those of the Noldor houses. Tianne remained close to her sister, but grew bored of sires fawning over her sister and irritated by their attempts to befriend her just to gain Aldaraen’s favour, and therefore would spend much of her time day dreaming and wandering around the forests developing a great fondness of animals, horses in particular. She would be around them whenever possible, found them far more trustworthy influencing her decision to refrain from eating meat.
Arátohon eventually grew restless of life in Mithlond and urged his wife to relocate to Eregion where his skills would be better served in the forges there. They arrived in Eregion and easily settled into the community there, her father was in his element working in the forges. Tianne's mother, a gifted tailor taught Aldaraen and Tianne her craft. They dutifully mastered the art, but were far more inspired by other things. Aldaraen was fascinated with jewel craft and Tianne would try her hand at anything anyone would willingly teach her. The sisters enjoyed watching their father at work and were delighted when they were allowed to forge their own weapons, and became quite proficient in the use of them. Tianne’s father struck up friendships with some of Durin’s Folk, his ability as a smithy was highly respected by them. Tianne liked the Dwarves who came to Eregion to trade. As private as they were, Tianne was able to flatter them sufficiently to draw out conversation from them, she even learnt a few words of Khuzdul.
War came to Eregion. Arátohon fought under Lord Elrond's command, but eventually when the city of Ost-In-Edhil fell, the family followed Elrond to Imladris rather than returning to Lindon. It was during the years that Rivendell was besieged that Aldaraen took up arms and fought alongside her father. Tianne, although skilled with the blade herself was encouraged to take up the vocation of a healer. Unsettled and more akin to fighting, Tianne persuaded her Father and Sister to allow her to take up arms also. When the armies of Gil-galad and Elendil settled in Imladris in preparation for the great alliance against Sauron, Arátohon left with the mighty host of men and elves ordering his daughters to remain behind. He fought bravely in the final battle, but was mortally wounded, yet lived long enough to see Sauron fall.
The news of Arátohon's death naturally brought great sorrow to them all. Tianne continued with her studies in respect of her father's wishes, but found the confines of the library and the lessons dull, and although the vocation of a healer is a noble one, her heart was not truly in it. Such was the love between Tianne’s parents. Tira became dejected and weary from the grief of losing her husband, and pleaded that they may all return to Mithlond where she could be reunited with her kin. Tianne seeing an opportunity to discontinue her studies, and already considered an accomplished healer was agreeable. Aldaraen who did not wish to be parted from her sister was also happy to return to a place where she had previously gained much popularity.
The family returned to Mithlond and life there was better the second time. At long last their fathers courage had won favour with the Falathrim, and the sisters were at last accepted fully into the community. However the harmony was short lived, Aldaraen was exiled. Initially she returned to Rivendell, but grew restless there and eventually was to take up arms again when the dark shadow arose once more.
Tianne was torn between following her sister and remaining by her mother's side. Never able to come to terms at the loss of neither her husband nor the exile of her daughter Aldaraen, Tira boarded a ship and sailed West. Tianne understood her mother’s grief but felt abandoned non-the-less, this was not to be the last time she felt abandoned.

Still considering Mithlond her home, Tianne retains a house in Falathlorn but spends much of her time travelling, enjoying the freedom and the people she has met along the way.....most recently a Warden and former courier of Lord Círdan named Gaelimil. At their first meeting in the Last Homely House, Gaelimil presented her with a white swan, expertly carved from Mallorn, it takes pride of place in her home. The pair met once again in Imladris and began to enjoy each other's company. He has taught her the use of a javelin and most importantly the discipline she lacked in combat. He is rather apt at coping with her somewhat feisty temper and the exchanges between them are rather entertaining. The next chapter in Tianne’s life would now appear to have begun at Gaelimil’s side.............
