A bustle of excitement could be heard as a gathering of finely dressed folk, of all shapes and sizes gathered in the centre of Staddle. The local Hobbits and merchants, finally clearing up on the late afternoon, looked on at the strange sight... though it was most certainly a meeting of some revelry, they wondered to its purpose and began gossiping quietly. ‘Twas not long before the crowd moved on, making their way toward Big Staddlemere, leaving the Hobbits to speak amongst themselves. “Well, did you hear that? Sounds like a wedding is afoot! And heh... a party of sorts too, at that fancy inn out in Westcomb.” The Hobbit folk gathered round listening to the fellow intently. “A party, eh? Oh deary me... I better find my frock, and with such little notice!” The smaller gathering dispersed, dashing off toward their burrows and Hobbit holes.
