Path Towards North.
Its been now few days, since i was heading towards North..i received a letter from Esteldin for some assistance, i did not know much of situation that was going on there, but still...if i could help anyway i would do so.
Soon as i received the letter, i packed up, and headed towards the Bree..upon arriving there i rested for few moments at Prancing Pony..then headed towards Trestlebridge. And here i am..what a sight to see..Trestlebridge in ruins, flames, and smoke. I couldn't believe my eyes...i was rather shocked what happened...so i headed around and asked few question what happened.
Few minutes later it seems that people of Trestlebridge were attacked by orcs...they moved trough the Trestlebridge burning everything in their path...no wonder i recrieved call to help around North from Esteldin..seeing what kind of horror they made to trestlebridge..i wouldnt be suprised if this continues even further.
Without much delay i took my horse and gone towards Esteldin...i was suprised to find so much Rangers there, it seems they took the spot for their encampment or something. I was directect to person in charge there...after talking with him for sometime..it seems they are in rather lot of trouble. But still i didnt understand what could i do..i am just a single person.But it seems they mostly called me during my knowledge in battle and strategies.
I am not usually a person who rejects those in need of assistance..so what could i do but go and help. In few hours of resting i was sent towards small camp of rangers. Upon arriving there i was to talk with someone..he told me during his injurey he couldnt go and test deffences of Fornost. It seems the orcs that passed trough Trestlebridge made their encampment at Fornost...as i said before..i am not a person who will reject those in need of help. So what could i do?..i simply headed there.
As i arrived infront of fornost..night sight to see..wargs, orcs...undead roaming around. Not much of a welcome party..as i got chased by wargs and aimed with bows at me. But..i was sent to test the deffences..and so i will. After few minutes of battle, they just kept comming, and comming, and comming. It was like they were just appearing out of nowhere. What could i do against that? So..i simply turned around and tried to run..but it was to late. They surrounded me..before i could do anything i got burned and pined on the ground. I tought thats it...no more journeys for this guy.
But on my luck...i noticed an elf..he seemed rather skilled with bow..he took em all down with not breakin a sweat. He was so kind to help me up and drag me to safe spot..he healed some of my injureys..i tought i could help but perhaps i was wrong..he proved to me there is much i need to learn yet..
So after few hours of rest...i gone back trough Trestlebridge towards Pony. Now i am just resting and recovering from that..i suppose there is not much i could do at the moment except for wait..soon as i recover it seems i will go back to learning more..i dont know if i can help anyone with such little knowledge and power.
Well..in the end.. i am sure glad that elf came..and that just proved that men cannot do much without them..no matter if they hate em, if they dont like em...there is a fact that we all must admit..we need em as much as we need our friends and our families.
