The Wayhouse
With the sun slowly sinking towards the sea, Faernathron made his way up the hill from Celondim, the final preparations were done, it was time to open the doors.
Time well spent had now passed, time used to procure the materials needed to build the wayhouse, time needed to make certain the path there was known to those who might need its comforts, before they sailed west, or, took once more unto the field of battle.
A smile played across Faernathron's face, he was content at the result of the efforts, and certain, that the lord and lady of Lothlórien, would approve of the choices made. There were a few minor details still needing attention, but as such, the guard was now ready to recieve, and host, the first guests.
Slowly Faernathron rode up to Duillond, he knew there was a parcel waiting there for him, through of the contents he knew but little, for it was shrouded in mystery. All he had been told, was that it had come with courier from the lady Galadriel. An important missive?, a task?
Who knew?

Looking across the river at the homestead, Faernathron once more smiled, it would be good to have a safe haven from which to set out, and already other eldar had heard the call and come to join the cause, the guard was growing, a good sign.
The small parcel from lady Galadriel was now tucked inside his belt, and he set out to the Wayhouse of the Spirit Guard, there to read, what the lady had written.
The message held a request, and a task, as yet, Faernathron knew, he could not reveal either to the guard as such, but his hope was that they would understand, besides, he knew that others of the guard would probably be used in the same manner over time, it should then come as no surprise to those who chose to lift the banner, that sometimes, secrecy, was the path most wise.
Night fell as he contemplated the assignment, it would be difficult, and he would have to venture into areas he as yet, knew only from the description of others. It would be.. interesting.
