Silessa was born in Lindon. She lived with her family in the woods near Lake Gelion. Her family had settled there on their journey West pausing till they felt it was truly time. They were restless spirits; faint dreams caused her family to wander around in the woods for many years. Songs were made, all of longing, hopes and the future, sometimes a quiet choir of voices could be heard at night.

Silessa was younger than her sister Hallothel who decided very early on that she wanted to explore the realms beyond Lindon, finally becoming a part of the Loth-i-Lonnath. Her parents were very proud of their daughter and her deeds. Somewhat a little different than they would have expected of a daughter, although they were no less proud of Silessa.

Silessa chose to be remain in Lindon, and help her mother with weaving and create fabrics of all different sorts, she also learned the skill to make jewellery out easy available materials.. like wood and stones. Often they ventured out of the borders of Lindon, to visit Duillond where many travellers and merchants were passing through on the trade routes. Sometimes you could see Dwarves stopping by on their journey North.

Silessa often visited markets to sell the fabrics she made, and then buy wool and silk to weave. She was quite happy about it, although she often dreamt to make more use of herself like Hallothel. But then again she thought that a simple life is no less valuable than dire work needed to protect the lands. Where would bravery be created if there did not exist folk to create products to make one feel comfortable, like clothes and jewellery; to protect, to make you warm, to tell everyone who you are... Silessa accepted the fact that she would be no different, she did feel happy and satisfied about her life. But of course a deep inner longing grew inside her, a longing to see the lands beyond the havens. Hence one could often hear Silessa's song by the docks in Celondim.
