Cironael Aranohtar is the heir to one of Lindon noble houses - house Aranohtar. Although not royalty, Aranohtars have always faithfully served elven High-Kings of old as captains, councillors and advisors. Since the fall of Gil-Galad the family has turned it's attention to watching over the lands that formerly were the home of elves and assisting descendants of Numenor - mostly Dunedain rangers of the North as Kingdom of Gondor in the south seems to be too preoccupied with it's own legacy to recognise allies of days long gone. Cironael was born in Mithlond at the first part of Second age (year 446) and brought up in Lindon. Following the traditions of the family, he studdied the arts of battle - mainly focusing on swordsmanship, as well as history of the Middle Earth and wars with the Morgoth, beeing a firm beliver that knowing the past will aid in the future. Cironael himself did not fought in the battle of Last Alliance, however, his father Celorael did and many of the Household warriors - whatever forces were not sent to what turned out to be the greatest battle of the Second Age were left in Lindon to serve as protection for the Mithlond under command of Cironael should the worst come to pass and Alliance would fail to gain victory as protection of only link between the Middle Earth and Amman. After the victory was attained, albeit at great cost, there was significant ammount of eldar leaving for Undying Lands, and among them was Celorael - Cironaels father, so the leadership of House Aranohtar passed to him. Since then Cironael has spent years traveling the lands of Eriador, looking for long lost lore, as period of long peace allowed him to pay less attention to his position as Lord of the House Aranohtar. However, at the year 1975 Elves of Lindon gathered in war-host to march against the forces of Angmar that had taken the Fornost - capital of the kingdom of Arthedain, and Cironael led warriors of his house during the faithfull battle on the fields of Fornost when Which-King's forces were broken and he himself had to flee. As another period of prolonged peace ensues, Cironael returns to his studdies and travels. Cironael was married, but his wife has heared the call of the sea and passed to Undying Lands onboard one of the white ships. He is sure that one day he will follow her, but for now he remains in Middle earth with his daughter Hiriel and son Elnarael. He was on his way to Imladris from Mithlond when he heared the news about incursions of forces of Angmar into the Eriador and decided to investigate. Seeing the extent of the Enemy's activities he decided to call upon whatever forces he had and all allies and friends that his house has acquired to face the threat of Angmar once again... Cironael always maintain a calm and peaceful apperiance, and is not quick to anger, however, he never forgets any insults and never forgives them - neither against himself nor those he consider to be his friends.
