| Outward Appearance | Captain Gnevomir Saltybeard is a one hundred and thirty year old stout axe dwarf who stands at four feet and eight inches tall in height and weighing around ten stone. Gnevomir wears his yellow hair and his beard short to signify his ongoing mourning for the Khirvísa clan. Gnevomir has various Dwarvish themed tattoos on both of his arms. The dwarf has a large and curved nose under a pair of fairly bushy yellow eyebrows. Gnevomir has fairly tanned skin from his constant exposure to the sun while out on his ship. The dwarf bears a prominent scar over his right eye, which he obtained during his captivity in Mordor. Gnevomir tends to be clad in ragged and very worn clothing due to the fact that the only time he usually gains a new outfit is when he steals it on a vessel his crew raids. Often times the marauders tend to the tailoring of the stolen outfits themselves. Gnevomir speaks in a loud and commanding baritone voice. The dwarf also wears a gold earring on his left earlobe, along with various rings on the fingers of both of his hands. Although his rings are primarily made out of silver and copper. (One could imagine the voice of Alec Baldwin's vocal performance as Nicholas St. North from the Rise of the Guardians film for an idea on how Gnevomir sounds.) |

Background
Gnevomir Kochanul was the oldest son born on September 25th, 2889 into a dwarf family belonging to the Khirvísa clan in Rhûn of the Grey Mountains. Kochan Goldenbrew, Gnevomir's father was a local brewmaster renowned for his stouts, ales, and meads locally. Emnilda, Gnevomir's mother, was a local cook who was equally renowned for her pork pies. Kochan and Emnilda ran an inn and tavern together named "The Goldenbrew Inn", which was fairly successful among the local population. Gnevomir and his younger brother, Nosimir were very close at a young age and the two were nearly inseparable as they grew up. Gnevomir's parents taught both him and his brother the arts of brewing and cooking and soon enough the two brothers were put to work at the inn.
Eventually as time passed, the two brothers grew into strapping, young adults and at this point had started to experiment with the menu and add their own creations to the menu. Kochan and Emnilda couldn't have been prouder. The Goldenbrew Inn continued to grow in success and attract more customers day after day. Eventually, the family made a small fortune off of their business. In particular, the alcohol that the the family brewed was gaining a massive following among the locals of Rhûn, which encouraged the family to sell their alcohol at the market place.
