Born as only child of the governor of one of the northern provinces of the realm of Rhûn, Aljascha was bound to become involved in the political life between schemes, extortion, corruption, mountains of documents and the ambition of others who constantly try to fell their enemies in order to bring through their own ideas and advantages.
   At the age of seventeen, Aljascha was given the stewardship of one of her father's farmsteads and in the passing of the next years, she managed to become a landowner, a Vasruca, herself, having acquired several square miles of land and villeins of the province of Ucholowo that lies in the north-east of the Sea of Rhûn. 
   Grengor, Aljascha's father married his daughter later to the noble's son and her cousin Fjanski, much to the dislike of the young woman, for the marriage was of pure political nature and Fjanski himself, a lot younger than Aljascha. More or less coincidently, the boy of just fifteen years of age suffered a riding accident which left him crippled, unable to walk or to lift his hands and so fell the main administration of the land of the couple to Grengor's daughter. 
   Fjanski, nevertheless in love with his cousin, ordered his bodyguard Sopulka, a giant of a man and a veteran warrior, to protect Aljascha in his stead. A circumstance that was much to Aljascha's liking.
   The failure of the political scheme against her rival Jukolenko forced her to leave the province for a while and as fate wanted, Jukolenko pursued the Vasruca, hired mercenaries to act as bandits as they attacked the wagon. Aljascha and Sopulka survived the attempt to end their lives and the noble woman decided that it would be best to leave Rhûn for some time.
   Now, almost a year in exile, Aljascha heard of the beginning war of Rhûn against King Brand of Dale and seeks to return to her land and political power.
