| Outward Appearance | Tosie has a petite build, short and small, with red-orange hair. It falls past her shoulders in a simple wavy fashion. She's pale and has freckles scattered over her nose and cheeks, and large, doe-like pale green eyes. She likes to wear flowers in her hair during the spring and summer with long, flowy dresses when she is in town, but it isn't unusual for Tosie to be spotted donned in expensive traveling-wear with a sword and dagger strapped to her hips.
In general she's an extremely cheerful and bubbly person. Her laughter is usually silent or heard through gasps, but it's prevalent and colorful all the same. She never speaks and has never been heard speaking, but Tosie almost seems never to notice or mind. She's an incredibly jealous and cunning creature, however, and will often cry if she cannot express her emotions properly. Tosie's personality incredibly flighty, she appears to fall in and out of love every other day and she is known for simply leaving Bree to go off on another adventure without a word to anyone. Despite being mute, she is very outgoing and seems to make friends wherever she wanders. |

Background
She grew up in Cliving with her father and his sons from his previous marriage. He didn't know much about being a father but he was good to all of them. Even though he didn't know the first thing about raising a baby girl, he certainly knew in her early years something was wrong. At three years old she'd never uttered a word, the only sounds she made were laughing and giggling or crying and whimpering. She grew up relatively happy, but Tosie had a very hard time making friends with other children who could not understand her. Thus, she grew up happy and loved by her family, but only with her brothers for friendship and comfort. Learning from Ealbrand who taught her himself, Tosie learned how to use a bow and arrow and became very good at it. Though she did not favor it as much, she also learned swordplay from one of her other brothers.
Her father was very attentive, making sure she was as happy as he could possibly make her. Perhaps it was because she could not speak, or perhaps she reminded him of her mother. She took lessons to learn how to read and write, her father wanting to make sure that she would have some way of communication is she needed it. By the age of sixteen she had already learned both Rohirric and Westron from her tutors. She started to dabble in arts, drawing and sketching on any piece of parchment she could find. Eventually, it lead to painting and she grew into an amazing artist. As time passed and she grew up, she started to grow curious about her mother and sister in Bree, and finally left home in search for them.
She arrived in Bree weary and in one-piece. Her mother had died years prior, and Tosie was never able to discover why she gave her to her father to take back to Rohan with him. However, Tosie did end up taking her mother's surname, Thorne. She did find her sister and they became wholly devoted to each other. She spent nearly a decade in Bree, making as many friends as she could, and falling in love with a new person with each season that passed. Tosie, however, grew to become very restless. She had a wandering heart, and could not sit still.
She left Bree to travel all over Middle-Earth and she has not been seen within the city walls since.
