Ellendwil of the House Ellensar :

I. Her family :

Ellendwil was born into the Ellensar family, a great noble Noldor family whose earliest origins date back to the awakening of the first born of Cuiviénen. They received as a gift from the lady Galadriel the lands of the North East of the kingdom of Lorien at the creation of the kingdom to thank them for their presence during the terrible war. (OOC : The "governors" of these lands are absolutely not playable for reasons of consistency and respect for Tolkien's history).

Lord Arwynn, head of House Ellensar, offered a sumptuous gift to his wife to show her his love for her. Ordered from the jeweler's guild, its manufacture took several months. Made of gold and precious stones. It symbolized the different children by a stone of different color around a large blue sapphire, the color of the house.

The family is made up of six branches from the six children of the founding couple of the Ellensar family :

• - A light green emerald was chosen for the firstborn: Estania. Symbol of nature recovered. But it was at the price of his blood, which covered the grass of a great battle against the legions of Morgoth.

• - A yellow citrine was chosen for the second child, a girl named Lindynia who composed many songs that brought joy to her parents and family. She left Middle Earth following the gradual loss of those around her and the pain that never left her heart. Absorbed by the art of her music she had no children.

• - A purple amethyst symbolized Nolwynn's wisdom, she composed many songs with her sister. She was a great scholar, passionate about the nature of Middle Earth, she crossed Middle Earth many times. She left this land during the destruction of the kingdom of Lindon.

• - A pink diamond was awarded to the beautiful Lyanelle. She was the voice of the house Ellensar. Her beauty charmed hearts and her speeches allowed to conclude alliances very profitable for the family. The Ellensar family developed and became very rich following her many talents.

• - A red ruby ​​was a perfect match for Lord Alanphord. At a very young age he became a thunderbolt of war. At his father's right hand in all battles, he was naturally designated as the successor to House Ellensar. He became so upon his father's death. But the war and the decline of his great house wounded his spirit. He became angry and cold. He can now be found with his daughter Nienore in the Ettenmoors.

• - The last of the girls, obtained from her parents a light green emerald. She was the symbol of a conclusion. Her name ? Cauraelle. The desired conclusion of all wars, to find a peace lost through the centuries. Calm, speaking little, very shy, she nevertheless met an elf with whom she had two children. Twins: Andalanie and Ellendwil. She found death during a trap set by the orcs while her children were still young.

II. Andalanie & Ellendwil :

The birth of the twins brought great joy to the declining House Ellensar. Deaths in war, financial losses, and departures to the Undying Lands had left House Ellensar a shadow of its former self.

Cauraelle decided to give all her love and knowledge to her children. They were going to become the future of the house and the best education had to be given to them.

Andalanie was designated as the successor and future lord of House Ellensar from a young age. Herald of the house he had to follow Lord Alanphord to learn his future duties. Despite his busy days he could not go several days without thinking of his sister and writing to her if the distance was too big.

Ellendwil, for her part, stayed with her mother. Sweet, fearful and very shy, she refused to be interested in the social events of high society. She read many books. Her voice, according to her mother, resonated like crystal. She was predestined to become a dreamy artist. She waited patiently for her brother to return and tell her about his expeditions. Soon, a desire came to her mind. She wanted to discover the world like her brother. She began to take an interest in maps. She learned the art of cartography but her mother's fear forbade her from leaving Lorien.

The war returning to Middle Earth took away from the children the love and presence of their parents who were killed during an attack when they made a journey between the kingdom of Celondim and Lorien.

It was decided that Andalanie would remain with Lord Alanphord in the Kingdom of Lorien to administer their lands and defend them against enemies. Nienore take the lead of the troops of House Ellensar in the Ettenmoors.

III. ... and now :

Growing up and his heart tightening as he lived the horrors of war, Andalanie moved further and further away from her sister. He was short on time and when he was with her, Ellendwil noticed that he seemed absent. If he had been able to free himself from his torments he would have admitted that she reminded him too much of their mother. Her beauty and calm resembled her very much, it was true.

So she took refuge in music, playing her harp and singing the memories of her family, trying to calm the fire inside her that was now devouring her : Now she wanted to discover this land that had taken away everything she loved.

She then brought her request to Lord Alanphord. She asked permission to travel to the valley of Lord Elrond, where she would be taught the art of cartography...
