Willowy and walnut coloured Stoorish hobbit. Often wears light colours, with her favourite being a pale shade of blue. Wears accessories and cosmetics such as clacky or jingly jewelry, powders, and rouge, and a scent made from local Frogmorton flora that her mother made for her.

Background

Background: Born on the Brandywine along with several of her brothers and sisters, Pomella is the middle-end daughter of a Frogmorton fisherhobbit and a local beauty queen. The household was sometimes stretched and tight and as a result Pomella learned to be resourceful at a young age making do with what she had.

Personality + Motivations: Because she grew up wearing nothing but hand-me-downs, Pomella’s most cherished possession is a light blue frock as it was her first item of clothing that was not previously owned by one of her siblings. To Pomella garments are a way to assert choice and a sense of belonging. Naturally, she has amassed a rather large collection of clothing items, some of which she calls “textile mathoms”.

With a robust need for socializing, Pomella is the sort of hobbit who places high value in her relationships with others. She feels a strong sense of community and is keen toward helping others feel the same sort of happiness and welcomeness she feels when she is among the Shire hobbits.

Overall and with few exceptions, Pomella is warm and friendly to her fellow hobbits.
