Farmer Lospo Longburrow

Lospo's straw hat hides thick, black curls, and shadows his vivid green eyes, but his skin is very tan nonetheless, from both sun and Harfoot heritage. He claims to be 3'8'', but these measures have been taken consciously wearing boots, so they can't exactly be trusted.

Dressed both with elegance and practicality, according to his position as the sole heir of a successful pipe-weed farm, Lospo cultivates small crops of the leaf for personal consumption and limited sales as a gourmet product for connoisseurs.

Background

A Brief History of the Longburrow Family

You see, it all started with my old grandfather, Laugo. He was in fact born a Smallburrow around the Hobbiton area, but since a young age he didn't seem to fit with the hard-working and simple lifestyle of the family, becoming a "bad-seed" of sorts in the community, always lazy and daydreaming of riches and power. One day, the family had its last straw during a fight, and Laugo packed his things headed towards the Bree-lands.

Some 30 years passed until he finally came back, and whatever happened during that period remains a mystery. He arrived a quieter and grumpier hobbit than ever, but now married to a young Longhole lass from Staddle, and with a large amount of money in his possession. He used it to buy a nice farming property in the Southfarthing from the Sackville-Bagginses, and changed his last name to "Longburrow" so he could start his new family from scratch on those lands.

Well then, here I find myself two generations later, as the sole proprietor of the Longburrow Farm after a life bound to the border of these lands. I think it's my job to, not only maintain the quality and pride of the Longburrow Leaf brand, but to elevate it to the title of best leaf in the Southfarthing!
