| Outward Appearance | Old Gammer Puddlewheat certainly isn't someone who dons fancy dresses or propagates fine linen. She's obviously rather old for a hobbit, and walks around with a wooden cane with her grey hair done into a tight bun. Her face is carefully lined with wrinkles and creases, all from aging, and her most common expression is a grumpy scowl, oft accompanied by a dull gleam in her sea-green eyes. |

Background
Old Gammer Puddlewheat has never been one for long stories. The way she mostly tells tales is short, direct, and some would say dull, even for an old hobbit gammer such as her. However, everyone in Bree-town knows her as the old, cranky "Gammer Puddlewhip" who enjoys harping on about the better days and maintains a small garden on the hillsides of Bree, often found whacking unruly young children and hobbits trespassing her garden when she isn't busy knitting underwhelmingly dull socks and wool caps.
