Ehrnuel is the Westron transcription of Ernúhellë. Loosely translated it means only setting in the western sky, and the name was given to her by her mother, who, distraught by the death of her betrothed, wished for her daughter that she could sail into the West unharmed. Ernúhellë has long wandered under the boughs of Mirkwood, but hearing stories about Greenwood the Great, had a wish to see the other forests as well, and learn their language and rythms.
