| Outward Appearance | Cyla is a young female, her skin pale and hair dark blonde. Her hair is kept as tidy as possible, framing her young features and green eyes. Despite the scar to her left cheek and an L shaped wound from the corner of her right eye to the corner of her mouth, her remaining features are flawless. Her mouth usually curved in a gentle and welcoming smile, while her strong Bree-land accent is spoken by a soft, quiet voice. Should one see her torso, they would find two scar's to her stomach and her back is covered in a map of scars. There is now also various burn scars on her torso as well as a burn scar circling her neck. Wearing only a small pendant, usually hidden under her clothing or uniform, and a plain silver wedding ring on her hand there is no other sign or hint of wealth or luxury. When found in her uniform, and with a small silver Eagle badge, signifying her rank, Cyla's head is held high while her green eyes fill with pride. |

Background
Cyla was born Cyla Applegate in Bree-land. Her mother died during childbirth leaving her in the care of her father and elder brother Eric. Growing up on the family farm she had a happy childhood. One day a group of Blackwolds attacked and ransacked the farm, murdering her father and grievously wounding her brother as they tried to protect her (her brother succumbing to his wounds shortly after she joined The Eagle Guard). After surveying the carnage left behind in the wake of the attack, Cyla vowed to pick up a sword and do what she could to help defend her home land from the ever growing darkness.
After a while learning the basics of wielding a sword, Cyla, an already accomplished healer, joined The Eagle Guard where she learnt to hone her sword skills. As a woman, Cyla knew and accepted that she would have to work harder than other recruits to prove her worth, which she did time and time again through various deeds.
More recent, after being dramatically rescued by her lover Fuerlan Grimblade and Arenfith Irongrip, Cyla married the love of her life in a quiet ceromony in Bree.
