Hertha appears as a practical, no-nonsense sort of person. She can be a little abrupt at times, but generally meets folk with curiosity, and an odd sense of humour.

She is of average height for a woman of the Mark, and of moderate build, though strong of arm due to her occupation. Her shoulder length hair is the colour of flame, her eyes are blue. 

Generally she can be found wearing light leathers when at the armoury, though she wears tunics and the occasional dress when not working. All clothing tends to be in earthy colours.
