Drollio came from the respectable Shortfoot family. He grew up in Overhill, which is a small village just North of Hobbiton-Bywater. Favoring solitude and long strolls, the forest surrounding Overhill seemed to allow him to develop these interests. Drollio was once called by the nickname "Scruffy" when he was a young hobbit, due to his excessivly curly hair. After moving out of Overhill, Drollio spent time in the neighborhood of Dryfurlong before finally settling down into his own burrow. If you happened to be ever looking for Master Drollio, you could go to his burrow, or most likely find him strolling along the roads at dusk. If you are lucky, you might spy him residing at the Green Dragon in Bywater. 

As age begins to catch up to master Drollio, the hobbit has started to ponder life past the Shire bounds. This is truly a strange thought for the likes of hobbits but the young adventurous hobbit has resurfaced in the middle aged Drollio.
