A woman of indiscriminate origin, Belfry has the dark hair and light eyes of any number of northern tribes. Her accent is many lilts quilted together, but Breelander is its primary chord. Her garb is as sturdy as she is—thick hide, tight wool, and heavy knits pad a solid frame. She wears a single iron earring pierced through her concha and dull rings whose stones have fallen out or had their emblems worn away. Some embroidery decorates her jerkin, not thread, but thin, fine wire. The most elaborate is wrought on her right shoulder with bronze in the form of a long, looping sea serpent. The head is a stamped metal plate, embellished with a heat patina, molten patterns oozing across its shining face. Its eyes are two beads of cut glass.

A peculiar feature on an otherwise fair, freckled face is a mild discoloration in her eyes. A darker color marks a third of her left iris, like rust that’s eaten away at silver.
