Sagramore
Sagramore, Captain of the Free Company
| Name | Sagramore |
|---|---|
| Occupation | Master-at-arms |
| Age | Middle-aged |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | Highburg in the Bree-lands |
| Kinship | The Free Company |
| Outward Appearance | Sagramore is a rather tall lad, almost reaching 6 feet. Well built, he walks around with a certain confidence. A man of arms would see gestures and attitudes which only a soldier, better yet, a commander, would have. He is a light-hearted lad. Hopefully. He speaks slowly, articulating words. When he's in a good mood or has drank an ale or two, he speaks quite effervescently and joyfully. He wears the Crimson Cloak of The Free Company, together with crimson inlaid shoulders, a bronze and silver leather jacket, black leather leggings and boots. |

Background
Sagramore was born in 2986, in Aldburg of Rohan, as the only son of Folcred, captain and military advisor to Eomund, Marshal of the Eastfold Mark.
Marshal Eomund died in 3001, killed by orcs in Emyn Muil. Alongside died his trusted advisor, Lord Folcred. After the tragedy, Eomer son of Eomund and his sister Eowyn went to Edoras, to live with their uncle, Theoden King. Folcred's household declined and eventually most of the household disbanded. Sagramore, now 15 years old, is raised by his mother's relatives and a few of his father's old retinue in Aldburg. Among them, Wealda and Baldulf.
In 3006, 20 years old Sagramore lives as a small land-lord in the Eastfold, on his farm close to Aldburg. He takes lessons in strategy and warfare from his father's advisors, turned administrators and clerks on his lands.
When Eomer returns to Aldburg as Third Marshal of the Mark (around 3014), having been informed by friendly people of those who could help him in his endeavours, he chose Sagramore (one of his childhood friends) as one of his most trusted councillors. The man had knowledge in warfare, in diplomacy, in administration.
In the summer of 3017, Third Marshal of the Mark Eomer officially dismisses Sagramore from
his service and privately asks him to become his eyes in the North. Sir Sagramore departs to the Bree Lands, a place he reaches in late 3017, after many adventures on the road North.
Once arrived in Bree, Sagramore buys an estate and establishes himself as a merchant with a few ties to the South.
