Background
Of Tyelpefindele
Lossea was born in Nevrast during first age of Middle Earth.
His mother, Líswen was a Vanya (which explains Lossea silver hair), and his father, Gildan, a Noldor. Deeply in love, Líswen made a big concession and leaved her kin to follow Gildan. At this era, they had already a child; Laegnir; Lossea’s older brother. Gildan was disgusted about the kinslaying and the family didn’t take any part on it.
Crossing Helcaraxë, they followed the House of Fingolfin, and Líswen was maybe the only Vanya who came in Beleriand.
Lately in Beleriand, the family finally followed Turgon and established themselves in Nevrast. During Siege of Angband, it’s on a beautiful spring not long ago before Gondolin’s shaping that Lossea was birth. In Nevrast and later in Gondolin, Gildan and Laegnir were part of Soldier while Líswen was a weaver.
When Gondolin was finished, the family followed Turgon’s people there and lived very peaceful days in the beautiful white city. Being too young when they arrived in Gondolin, Lossea grew up there and don't really remember Nevrast. In his childhood, Lossea learnt from his mother to sew and embroidering, and already showed a particular ability in this art but also in music skills. Then, when the elf was older enough to chose a craft, he chosen to follow the steps of his mother instead to be a soldier, and became himself a weaver, but also liked to lost himself in his harp which is his favorite instrument.
During Nirnaeth Arnoediad, Gildan was sent into battle with lot of Gondolin’s soldiers. Unfortunately, he never came back from the battlefield, and then, Líswen was in a deep pain, but with the years, Lossea and Laegnir managed to bring her back happiness despite she was never totally the same.
During fall of Gondolin, Laegnir, which good skills allowed him to join people of the House of the Fountain years before, perished at his turn during the battle, and only Lossea and his mother managed to escape thanks to Tuor’s secret pass.
But Líswen, already weaker by having losed her older son, had been hurted during the crossing of Cristhorn, and the wound, the pain of remembering having losing his husband, and then his son, traumatism linked to atrocity of the fall of Gondolin, and the cold of the high mountains, made her passed away.
Lossea continued the travel alone, in sorrows, and in his pain, he met another elf, one of the escaped who also losed all his family in the battle. The two elves became very close, offering support to each other during all the March until mouth of Sirion. Once there, the decided to refugee to Island of Balar.
After War of Wrath, the two elves refused the call of Valar and followed some other Noldor in Lindon, and they lived there until the Death of Gil-Galad.
Losing the last High king of the Noldor - their king, and Middle Earth being not safe anymore, they decided to leave Lindon to live in Rivendell, which was build by Turgon’s descendant, and where other Noldoli from Eregion had already refugee.
Thé; they always remained there until now. But sometimes, it happens they returns in Lindon for short period by nostalgia.
In his heart, Lossea never forgot Gondolin, and he always remembers the heroism of Tuor, thanks to whom, him and only few Gondolin survivors managed to escape. For that, he has a particular sympathy for Men.
