| Name | Eotryth |
|---|---|
| Occupation | Provisioner for refugees of Bree-land |
| Age | Young |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | Bree-land |
| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Tall and sturdy-looking, able to take care of herself yet just entering womanhood. Brown hair and dark green eyes appearing black in most lights; eyes that tell she has seen death and danger, but in bright light the underlying green to her eyes shows a brightness that hasn't shown through since the long-gone good times. A careworn face, tanned from hours in the sun whilst farming, hunting and caring for horses. Initially quiet and reserved, but to her kin and trusted fellows she is insightful, coureagous and opinionated, suprisingly comic and even intelligent, always interested in the affairs of this Middle-earth. |

Background
The last year of my life was a steady progression of terror, led in part by the foul breed of Orcs from north of the Gap, and for their own amusement they presented unfathomable torments. But in some ways the sheer terror they instilled was bearably better compared to the torments of the evil Haradrim; the Men of the South. Their cruelty hit all the worse as they were our fellows, our neighbors, our own race and kin, and they used this similarity only to pain us all the more, hitting us where it truly hurt -- our horses, slaughtered for their amusement, and our women, taken forcefully as wives and slaves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I grew up as the youngest daughter of 10 children in a typical farming village, a day's ride north of Edoras. My mother is dead, along with the other women in the field that day, killed by Orcs while they harvested in place of the men already gone. 4 brothers and sisters are married and in various lands throughout the Riddermark, unknown alive or dead. 2 brothers already killed away in battles North of the Gap, and 2 sisters taken by the revolting Men of the South, possibly dead as well. Father and my Uncle, both ranking officials in our Rohirrim army took my oldest brother and cousins, among them Eotharl, Eodarl, and Eongor, all part of our company here in Bree. It was not until my cousin Eotharl, long thought dead, returned from the Northwest that I was rescued. The shadows of my joyously raucous youth were faded in the Flames of Evil, the Wake of Terror and Corruption, and as I rode away West from my village with Eotharl, with the tears born of many injustices stinging my face, I did not look back.
My life was a horror before I came here to Bree, and I see the torments of the people here reflecting earlier stages of my own. I will do anything to keep them from suffering the fate of Rohan. It is against the brigands in particular that my family, my small band of refugee Rohirrim focus their most attention to, to protect Bree-landers from the humiliation of their own people turning against them. Myself, as the only woman in our company, am nominated as Provisioner, to hunt for our meat and hides and to gather our fruits and vegetables to make our clothes and food. I give the men what they need to defend Bree-land, our new home, and do what little I can as a farmgirl to help all Free Peoples in their struggle against the darkness stretching over all lands.
