| Outward Appearance | Before you stands a native man of Trestlebridge, wearing naught but common hunting robes and every-day tunics. He stands about 5'9, appears not to be too slim nor fat, but just in the middle. His hearty laugh drowns out all talk among him, and people were to look upon him, a simple scowl would all they get in response. The man's voice oft betrays him of his friendly intentions when he drinks or talks, putting comments and insults of hate towards those of a different skin than his. His illiterate mind helps him naught when dealing with merchants, or scholars. Nor will his stubbornness allow him to become literate for he finds it to be weak and not manly. Dawkin is only an average man in an average town that appears to find itself more important than ever... |

Background
Dawkin is simple, really. He doesn't need a long list of his heritage, as it's clear in his voice and how he behaves. I think it's best that you would meet his backstory and past just by talking to him, or joining him on his 'fabled hunts'. Of course, for those that wish to find the sudden answer, here it is. Dawkin was born to Jane and Geoffrey Holly in Trestlebridge. His childhood was rather basic - he lived on a farm past the Bridge on the northern fields. It would take an hour and thirty minutes to get there from his farmhouse. His mother taught him to thread and repair his clothes, while his father taught him how to hunt, and occasionally how to brew alcohol once he was of age. However, in his late teens, his brother appeared: Ted. His parents' attention went to him for a while, making him jealous. After a long while, Dawkin he was happy with having a brother. He even taught him how to use a bow, and half of the things Dawkin does. It's a peaceful life - or rather was until he had moved to Bree with the rest of his family. And now he simply hunts basic game, visit his friends and help at the Hunter's lodge, or the various tasks around the nearby Hamlets and Towns of Bree-land.
