| Outward Appearance | Maedhrathin is a typical Sindarin of Falathrim descent. Average of height and build, always a smile, glint in his eye, and a readiness to laughter. Only the color of his hair sets him apart from most of his kind, being more golden than either dark or silver. Maedhrathin doesn't strike you as a wielder of weapons and arms. Yet, he moves with the practiced grace and measured movements of a dancer. When he speaks or sings a melodious and light voice is revealed. |

Background
Born in Mithlond around 700 S.A., to parents of Falathrim origin. They, having survived the destruction of Brithombar in the First Age, had followed Lord Círdan, first to the Isle of Balar, and later to Lindon.
Maedhrathin did not take after his parents love of ships and sailing, and feared greatly the raging storms and violent spirit of Ossë. Instead he came to follow the gentle nature of Uinen, and in her ,he found the music that appealed to his feä. Picking up the harp to honor her, he instead brought music into the community, and was often sought as a minstrel at various celebrations, as when a new ship had been built, but also to raise the spirits when storms raged.
