Background
Paladric Sandybanks isn't the sharpest tool in the box. He often becomes confused, even mixing up words at times. Surprisingly he can play the lute rather well and learned to play other instruments with the band, The Pied Pipers.
He earns his living as a pot washer in the Bird and Baby Inn, but hopes to work his way up to being a cook. If only he could stop burning the food!
Paladric is known to exaggerate, often telling tall tales of deeds he has apparently done. He means well, really. He attempts to make up for what he considers a boring life as a simple pot washer. He can be rather oblivious to people's feelings which can get him in a spot of bother.
He has an eye for the lasses, but always seems to make a fool of himself when trying to speak to them. He was once to be married, but the engagement was called off. He and his former betrothed have since parted ways but remain friends. Paladric has become somewhat of a recluse since the split. Nobody seems to know where he's run off to. His cousin Daffney tells folk that he's off traveling.
Paladric's favourite food is a nice, warm treacle tart. However, pies come a close second!
