Everything is a mystery to me and I trust only in the few truths which I have already found. I was raised in Rivendell, although my appearance readily betrays me as Galadhrim. My protectors and guardians have never been forthcoming with answers as to why this is the case. I was told that I was too young, that I must wait my time.

But with time, the uneasy restlessness and a sense of not belonging only grew in my heart. Knowing that I would never receive that which I seek amongst my own kin, I turned my back on my beloved Rivendell and ventured beyond.

Perhaps my guardians were right; perhaps I was too young. This selfish mission claimed my innocence, taught me the gut-wrenching feeling of mortal peril and only served to raise more questions.

Yet, while licking my wounds I realised that there are many things of greater importance in the world than my own questions.

The time has come for me to venture into the world of men once again. This time, I shall be more open to the needs of others. Fearless in my desire to use my time in Middle Earth to ease the suffering of others, I am nevertheless wise enough have grown cautious. This time, I will be slower to trust and quicker to draw my blade. I travel by night, guided by the light of the moon and yet concealed by the Shadows.

And still, more questions remain.
