Her colour of hair is a mix of pale gold and light brown, mostly at the roots and the tips are almost pure gold like the leaves of the mallorn trees in Lórien. Behind her hair on her neck is a wound from a warg, her symbol of bravery when her father was being attacked by a pack of wargs, but managed to defeat their numbers.

Face: Pure pale skin without any scratches or disturbances. She spent most of her life in the shade of the trees without going into the sunlight, especially in summer because she is afraid of getting her smooth clear skin burned.

Appearance: May vary. On special occasions, she is wearing a long robe with colours of red, white and gold. At home, she wears a simple but elegant white dress with many layers of silk and fittings. On her duties, she wears her hunting gears with a sort of cream colour with gold borders, she also carries her special bow, Narwenel. It is a precious relic of her family belonging to her great grandfather Estelar.

Background

The house of Gilderelon

The Gilderelon family were at the beginning Teleri elves, the third and last elven clan to come to Aman, it was also the largest of the three elven houses. The Teleri were sundered from the first two clans, the Vanyar and the Ñoldor, because they tarried behind searching for their lost king Elwë (later known as Thingol), and the first two clans were ferried across to Valinor on a huge island before. The Maia Ossë kept them company while they waited, and became their friend. Later when Ulmo returned with the island ferry, the Teleri had grown to love the sea. Ossë convinced Ulmo to anchor the island in the bay of Eldamar, off the shores of Aman, and persuaded many of the Teleri to remain in Middle-Earth. The Teleri long remained on this Lonely Isle and their language changed in different ways from that of the Vanyar and Ñoldor. Much later the Teleri learned to build ships, and finally made it to Aman.

The Oldest of them called Hirgon,an elf of gold locks of hair waving in the air and whose name means "Lord commander"  Before the great journey to Aman, he married an unimaginably beautiful vanyar elf, by the name of Huredhíl. Unfortunately when she awoken, the light was too powerful for her eyes to take, and made her vision not clear, thus earning the title "The Blind Beauty" When the great journey came, they have settled in Alqualondë. They helped others in making swan boats and amazing work of arts.  The people of Alqualondë were so grateful, that in return for their help and effort, they decided to build them a big house in a secluded peaceful and blooming woodland area. With beautiful garden springs, whistling wind and still trees, Hírgon named his family "Gílderelon" loosely meaning "Star men" . Because there were so many stars in the skies, he had at least ten children, who were loving of their Father and Mother. Soon the children had children of their own. They lived in peace and prosperity, and didn't seem to bother what was going in the outside world. until Hírgon saw in his mind a terrible fate will meet their precious swan harbour. They left their house sealed away from the visible eye for now and sailed East. After they left, the kinslaying began. The family was lucky that they didn't see the terrible bloodshed of their kindred spilled by the house of Feanor. They will never forgive them and will never earn the favor of the house of Gílderelon.

After leaving Valinor for a while, the house made a stay in Beleriand until its cruel wars began, soon they left back to Alqualondë, but only one refused in returning and he was called Estelar.

Estelar instead went through the misty mountains in secret and settled near the Anduin with the Nandor, A group of elves, which began under the Teleri Elf Lenwë who led the group that turned south along the river Anduin, and disappeared from written history. Nandor eventually became their term for themselves. Many years later a group of Nandor under Denethor, son of Lenwë, hearing of a great Elven realm crossed the Blue Mountains into the Ossiriand, which was after named Lindon, or Land of the singers, after these elves. After their settlement, they became known as the Laiquendi, the Green Elves.

In later years, the Silvan Elves of Mirkwood and Lothlórien were descended from the Nandor (but most of their lords were not), as were the elves which dwelt at Edhellond near Dol Amroth during the early days of Gondor.

After Estelar made his home in Lórinand (Lórien), he had been considered one of the Nandors, and started a family of his own and had peace. The family was now called The Gilderelons of Lórien, who now dwell in the golden mallorn trees, under the protection of Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel.

Góphinthil's life

Góphinthil was born around the end of the Second age when Middle earth was at peace for a while after the destruction of Sauron. She was born into the house of Gilderelon, an incredibly rich family of Nandorin and Laiquendi descent living in Caras Galadhon. Góphinthil never knew how her family did have this much wealth, but it will remain a mystery. Her childhood was free, she spent most times by the river Anduin making flower crowns with her older sister who shares the similar name, Góphinil. As a child, she had everything that anyone would desire to have. Her grandfather Estelar Gilderelon, the first of the family to travel to Lórien, crafted many great things that would later have a son named Gaelin, who would then build the Gilderelon Manor on the tallest Mallorn tree in Lórien.

Góphinthil's family house was one of the most wonderful flet houses in Caras Galadhon, with many floors, balconies, lamps, statues, flowers and many wealth that her ancestors left. She was known and greeted by every Galadhrim in Lórien as her family did. She always was seen in white dresses and white decorative cloaks. Góphinthil loved to play the harp, she learned how to play it by her brother Ginwyn, who was a bard. Ainthil, her oldest brother tought her how to use a bow in defence. Góphinil, her sister taught her poetry and singing, she enjoyed her teaching that. Ainwyn, her Laiquendi mother taught her tailoring and ever since made masterpieces. Ginthil, her Nandorin father had less contact with her because he was the captain of the Galadhrim army, but on free times he spent time with her writing poems to her and songs. This made Góphinthil like her father more.

As years went by, the family has heard of a fortress called Dol Guldur built on Amon Lanc (Bald Hill in Sindarin) in Mirkwood and were called to go help the Golden Host to repel the fortress. Her father went there but she wanted to go with him. He did not want her to get killed, but she made him go with her eventually. She knew how to handle a bow and two daggers. Her father gave her the chance and she succeeded. Once they arrived Góphinthil wandered into the woods alone looking for her father who went looking for some herbs. She saw him struggling against with at least fifteen wargs, and she managed to save his life, but as she was defeating the last one, it scrathed her behind her neck and fled. Góphinthil managed to heal her father returned to Lórien with him.. After he saw what happened to his daughter he did not feel that middle earth is safe for her, so he gave her the choice of leaving with him and her mother to the Undying Lands. Góphinthil refused to leave because she has not yet seen this whole world but she has promised that when the time has come, she will leave middle earth and it will be the last of the Gilderelons in Middle-Earth. Her parents allowed her to stay, and the rest of their children.

In T.A. 1978 they crossed over the Misty Mountains to Imladris where they left Góphinthil under the protection of Lord Elrond Halfelven, while they were meeting with other elf lords to leave for Aman. Góphinthil's siblings were lead back to Lórien, while she stayed in Imladris. After she wanted to return to Lórien, she has heard about what awakened in Khazad-Dum and then since she feared crossing the mountains. Góphinthil has made a promise to herself, if Middle-Earth has returned to proper peace, she then will return home and reunite with her siblings to then departure to Aman...
