Background
She is known as Laerel from Rivendell, because she was among the first group that followed Lord Elrond on the founding of the hidden elven dwelling. But in truth, she was born long before in the lost city of Vinyamar, under the ruling of Turgon the Wise, and there she was named Lucindë Lairelle, "the one who charms with her little poems and songs". Her Essë was Almariel, "daughter of good fortune", although very early she chose her mother-name over the other, and by that name she was called from then on, along with her epessë, which was with the years adapted to the Sindar sound.
Over the centuries, she has developed her farming and cooking skills, given her status as a member of the Yavannildi.
