Lilykind Bellogorn, a Gondorian, is the only child of aging parents, Herionn & Idranil Bellogorn, of the scholars of Minas Tirith.  They are refugees escaping war and currently residing in Bree.  Lilykind would love to study scholarship and adventure, but because of the recent move, and an ailing mother, she's resorted to being a yeoman to put food on he table for her family.  She is happy and content to do this for she loves har parents and would forsake all to take care of them.  Because she loves both her family, and scholarship, a conflict arises in that she'd love to adventure and go far and wide to attain knowledge, but the love for her mother keeps her at home and taking care of her needs supersedes. This might add to her moodiness. 

Sorrow will fill Lily's heart soon, for her mother will not be long in Middle Earth, and the mother's strength is fading.  A funeral is not what Lily wants to plan, but it is talked of often by Idranil, Lily's mother, and Lily would rather avoid it.  Instead, her father Herionn has been dealing with preperations;  and he's becoming bitter.  All these things affect Lily's mood.
