Elenia Alassiel Wulfniht the Wary

It seems that all Wulf thought she knew was a lie; a fabrication of her mind to cope with grief. For a time she rode as kinswoman to the Riders of Riddermark, believing herself to be of Rohan due to a subconsciously-made glamor. She believed herself to be the bastard child of a Rohirric Captain and a horse-breeder, who had been raised by her grandfather when her mother died in childbirth. However, after a run in with the Rangers and the elf Elenye, Wulf was bade to stay in Rivendell by Lord Elrond so that the Rangers might study her more. They believed it strange that a woman could possess powers without aid of an artefact, and so had Wulf speak to the scholar.

After two days of soul-searching and wisdom from the scholar, Wulf was astonished to find her glamor was beginning to crumble; slowly revealing her true elven form. Though she now knew her Rohirric life was a lie, she rode for her kinsmen feeling a need to tell them to truth before vanishing. By the time the young woman reached her kinsmen, her glamor had all but shattered. Upon telling their Aethelwigend, Auerdan, the truth of her nature the Captain attacked her, branding her an "elven spy", and ordered the kin to kill her.

Wulfniht managed to leave with her life but a great sadness now blooms within her. Though she knows it is not her true name, she has kept Wulfniht as her third name; hoping to remember those she held dearly, even if it was just for a short time. After returning the Rivendell, she is trying to piece together the shards of her slowly returning memory and her broken heart.
