'Go not to the elves for counsel, for they will say both no and yes.' -J.R.R. Tolkien

A tall elf of her kind, Maidhuial has elegant features with a slender neck and gently curved frame.  Held back in tight, weaved braids, her black hair falls far down her torso touch the top of her bum in gentle waves.  It heavily contrasts with her pale skin that glimmers softly in reflection to her name which means pale highlights.  Her eyes are a soft blue colour.  Often fine clothing hangs from her frame in soft ruffles of elegant fabric and colours such as lavender and blues.  Jewelry can occasionally be seen gleaming from her wrists or around her neck, but often it is understated in a simple manner to accent the clothing she bears and she is careful not to select pieces that overtake the entire attires.  When she travels away from her happy home, she is less fashionably conscious and wears lighter armours that move freely on her frame.  Sometimes you will see a gentle smile curl from her lips, especially when she sings or holds her beloved harp in her hands.

'So they laughed and sang in the trees; and pretty fair nonsense I daresay you think it. Not that they would care; they would only laugh all the more if you told them so. They were elves of course.' -J. R. R. Tolkien

Maidhuial was born the daughter of Camaeneth and Meremen.  As a child, Maidhuial was given the name of Mereneth from her father for, according to Meremen, she grinned from the day she was born and giggled with a joyfulness only he understood.  Maidhuial grew up much alike to many Elves of her kind.  She had education with the skills of music, weaving, dancing, and healing.  Through most of her youthful years, Maidhuial excelled in music and could often be seen with a harp in her hands.

This is when Maidhuial's mother gave her Amilesse of Gannelel in recognition to Maidhuial's ability on the harp and her parent's dream for her to become a great musician in the halls of kings.  With that name, she often played her harp in the halls of great Elven kings which is when she met her love named Arradir who traveled with a wanderlust and free spirit Maidhuial had always envied.  However, before the two could wed, Arradir's wandering spirit led to his fall as he left to await in the Halls of Mandos leaving Maidhuial alone.

In the early hours of twilight, Maidhuial often played her mournful laments on her harp in memory of her love and her father who always treasured the laughing twists and twirls of his daughter's dancing began to worry of her.  Unsure of what to do, her father set out to find a new love for her, but none compared to Arradir in Maidhuial's eyes.

It was then Maidhuial planned to leave and explore the world on her own, but fearing the dangers her father forbid it. He begged her to take a husband from the suitors he introduced her, but Maidhuial had no desire. After an attempt to leave her home, her father locked Maidhuial away in hopes it would protect her.

Angered by her father, Maidhuial began to weave herself a dark cloak, intertwining her own hushed harmony of into each thread with silvery streams of wine and water she collected.  The cloak whispered with mist clouding the view of her when she slipped by.  With the cloak wrapped around her, Maidhuial slipped into the early twilight hours away from her home upon the back of her steed at that time.

The name Maidhuial was one adopted due to the fact she often was spotted dancing at twighlight, keeping herself hidden except for in the dim light when the sun was hidden beneatht he horizon. Maidhuial loved the pale twilight hours twirling through the mists and dew as she once did with Arradir.

Years past over time as Maidhuial traveled the lands bearing her cloak to keep her safe from many threats (although not all).  Since her days playing the harp, she has instead opted to delivering messages among different Elven lords upon the back of her dark steed Duvainor.

It is said once in awhile you may hear her sing a soft melody as she dances through the boles of trees and when she does, her grace is a memorizing sight for one to see that recalls the days she played her harp in the halls of the Eldar.

Occasionally she is also called Lagoreth for which the swiftness she rides and moves, but the name most know is Maidhuial.
