Rayah

Ravoneth Esgalben
| Name | Rayah |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | One could call her a 'treasure hunter', when in reality she simply has a love for ancient artifacts. Though she is fist and foremost, a protector of the wilderness. |
| Age | Given her heritage, it's not easy to tell. She would likely be guessed in her late twenties, by a common westron. Yet she would be just past her fiftieth year. |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | None, permanent. She is usually not in one place longer than a day, at most. |
| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Appearance Rayah is rather tall, a little over six feet in her boots. She is not remarkably gorgeous, unless you have a distinctive fondness for the 'carefree' look. Her hair is kept back, more often than not (Ponytails, braids, ect.). Walnut brown and down to the base of her neck. Her eyes are big, round, and a distinctive shade of grey-blue.

Background
Various Names
Among the Rangers: Ravoneth Esgalben, her Birth name.
Among outsiders: Alice, other various names. She rarely has to interact with these people twice.
Among Family: Rayah. This is simply a nickname given to her by her older brother, the story behind such long forgotten.
Among Friends: Raven. A spin-off of her real name.
A little Background
Though she may seem odd, she has no overly dramatic or impossibly difficult history under her belt. She was raised by two living parents in the wilderness, taught through her youth as one would any child, and then given to the world with the skills and know-how to do what she was raised into.
Though the Rangers of the North tend to not stay in one place all too often, Rayah would consider the North Downs her 'home'.
Those of her kin would remember her well - Not because she's any sort of bizarre prodigy with a weapon, but simply because she's quite naturally likeable. She lacks the rigid exterior of many you'd meet out traversing the wild, managing to balance a superbly friendly aura whilst speaking objectively on serious topics.
She has traveled around a good bit in her time, naturally, having gone as far north as Forochel, but never farther south-east than the Trollshaws, usually keeping an eye out for any interesting archeological finds, but only those readily available and apparent whilst following some sort of directive.
She is fond of old ruins, tales of times long before her, and enthralled by the stories of elves who have been alive since the farthest trace of her bloodline.
| Friends | |
|---|---|
| Relatives | Her family is actually very, very large.. But she doesn't speak much of them, even when asked.. She has a son, currently residing in Evendim |
| Rivals/Enemies | Grave Robbers in Evendim, Brigands in Bree, Highwaymen in the Lone-Lands, Orc tribes in the North Downs. |
| Loves | The Land, History, all bodies of water, but particularly waterfalls, and wide rivers. Any place with a rich history, good or bad, is sure to catch her eye. |
|---|---|
| Hates | Tomb Raiders, who tear apart ancient burial crypts for money. |
| Motivation | While one of her goals involves a complicated riddle, that's leading her on a hunt around the whole of Eriador, she's never forgotten her inborn duty as a watcher of the wilderness. |
| Quotes | ''The North-Downs are gorgeous, aren't they? Minus the Fields of Fornost.. There's no beauty in death, beyond the life it brings. Yet no life has been brought." |
