| Outward Appearance | An average height man usually dressed in some sort of civil clothing. A weathered face that would be littered with wrinkles, not unusual given the man looking to be in his late 40s or 50s. His once dark hair had receded to the point of being completely bald on top, only leaving an amount of hair around due to simply not caring. Though vanity had not fully left him as could be seen at a neatly trimmed beard that would cover all of his jaw. His hazel eyes would be warm and friendly, and his mouth would normally offer a smile unless disturbed while reading something. |

Background
A man of low birth as was common in Bree, he grew up on a small farm a bit outside of town. Never thoroughly enjoying the hard toils of working the fields, Garyson were always more interested in being told stories as a child. He would grow up and learning to read by learning from merchants, traders and the like in Bree, slowly but surely learning, and it was from these he also learned rudimentary penmanship. It wasn't long before Garyson had grown an interest for history alongside the myths and legends of his childhood. He started studying the truth of some of these, learning a bit here and there. As he reached manhood, Garyson started travelling to search out faraway places of myth, as well as libraries greater than that of Bree, eventually even being allowed into Rivendell, and granted access to some of the lesser writings of the elves. This way Garyson eventually learned parts of the Sindarin to further his research, however learning this in Gondor studying there in large parts of his life, his travels would only take him to Rivendell twice in his life. He would find himself more likely to find travelling to more nearby libraries. In the end Garyson became a fully fledged scribe, good penmanship and even greater interest for learning that keeps by him in his old age. He now stays in Bree mainly as his age doesn't allow travels, he aims to unite with other scholars and train a new generation of them in Bree.
