Race/Ethnicity – Race of Man, Bree-lander.

Gender – Male.

Skin Tone – Caucasian.

Eye Color – Warm, mahogany-brown eyes.

Hair – He has long, scruffy wheat-blond hair that stretches down to the back of his neck and he has no facial hair as he is too young to be growing beards and moustaches.

Height – 5’6

Size/Build – Wilfred is an average-sized man who is not particularly thin or fat or muscular at all.

Attire -   Wilfred likes to wear a straw-hat that was given to him by his grandfather, leather boots, gray finger-gloves, a yellowy-green cape and a dark green/brown tunic with lots of pockets.

Physical Distinctions – He has one single physical distinction which is simply a birth mark at the back of his neck (a black spot) but that is it as he has no tattoo or scar of any kind.

Tone of Voice - His tone of voice is a little higher than one would expect as a man of his age would often have a deeper voice - one queer thing about the tone of his voice is that when he is angry he often misses out certain words like from: "I'm angry" to "I angry" or "I hate my father's expectations..." to "Hate... Father's expectations". It is unknown as to why he does this though.

Habits – Wilfred has one queer habit which is that he always smokes his pipeweed after every meal or every particular situation to ‘calm him down’.

Background

Full Name: Wilfred D. Pinedon

Title(s): Pine-tree, Wilfie Smoke, the Blond, Mister Straw, Coward.

Date of Birth: 7th March 2999 T.A. (Third Age)

Place of Birth: The High Bridge District, Bree-town, Bree-lands.

Father:  Edmund ‘Physician’ Pinedon

Mother: Elizabeth Pinedon.

Siblings (in order of age after Wilfred): Peter (M), Mary (F) and Jennifer (F).

Relationships (with family members):

Edmund (his father) – Well, Wilfred’s father is a stern, strict man who has expectations that Wilfred will become a physician also but Wilfred does not want to be and he is often intimidated and pushed-around by his father so he doesn’t say anything and hides his true wishes.

Elizabeth (his mother) – Wilfred, while fears his father, has quite a stable relationship with his mother as her mother understands what he is going through and Wilfred helps her with various tasks.

Peter (aged eighteen) – Probably the second most important relationship in Wilfred’s life, they remain unstable with one another. At times, the pair love each other and would put themselves through anything for one another but at other times, they hate each other very much and can have a dispute that’ll last for days. However, Wilfred is often jealous of Peter for he has more freedom with his life while he, himself, is forced to become a physician.

Mary (aged sixteen) – Out of all his siblings, Wilfred has the strongest bond with his younger sister, Mary. They share many same qualities and likes with one another but Mary also feels the same as what Wilfred is going through, as she is often being pressured by her father to marry a boy and bear children ‘for that is a woman’s duty’.

Jennifer (aged four) – Jennifer being the youngest of the Pinedons and Wilfred’s siblings and while Wilfred likes and adores his little sister, he has somewhat avoided Jennifer after she vomited at him after eating a Sunday’s feast and therefore ruined Wilfred’s best shirt. That is enough said.

Robb (Wilfred’s uncle on his father’s side) – Robb and Wilfred are quite close as well despite the fact that Wilfred and his father doesn’t really. Robb is a travelling merchant who often goes off into distant lands to get some trade and goods then comes back to Combe and Bree to sell them and thus, becomes a good source of tales and stories for the Pinedons. Yet, it is notable that Robb is quite different from Edmund as he is less strict and believes that a child should choose his own life which is why Wilfred likes Robb in the first place.

Education: Of course with him being the son of a physician, he would have learned every herb, every treatment, every wound and potential injury, every piece of the body and every medical term or statement. And as well as that, Wilfred has learnt how to read and write (for it is necessary for a physician), how to cook, draw, paint and so much more.

Place(s) of Work:  He works in Combe and Bree as an apprentice to his father, Edmund, who is a skilled and renowned physician in these parts.

Current Residence: Combe/Bree.

Marital Status: Single.

Religion: Wilfred’s quote: “You know my father once told me this… ‘If there are gods, then why would the world be filled with such threats and risks? Diseases, death, plagues, vermin, assassins, evil… Surely, God or Gods would not want to put us through such misery! Therefore, there aren’t gods.’ That is pretty much it.”

Political Affiliation: Wilfred cares naught for politics or leaders as they do nothing for him and his folk – so why should he?

Social skills – Wilfred is ‘ok’ in a conversation and is not completely sociable or unsociable. It all depends on who he is speaking too of course, if it someone he dislikes – he shan’t be very social with him and the conversations with that person would end up being quite awkward. If it is someone he knows or likes to speak with then it will be a merry conversation or at least one that you’d enjoy.

Personality: Wilfred is quite a nervous man who likes his freedom but he is often intimidated and pushed around by his father as well as other people and while he does not like it, he lets it happen for he cannot do anything about it.

Infamous Quotes:

“You know my father once told me this… ‘If there are gods, then why would the world be filled with such threats and risks? Diseases, death, plagues, vermin, assassins, evil… Surely, God or Gods would not want to put us through such misery! Therefore, there aren’t gods.’ That is pretty much it.” – Wilfred’s view on religion.

“Look… I--- Aye, I know… But--- I perfectly understand sir yet I must--- All right.” – Wilfred trying to argue against a man who was obviously ordering him to do something but failing.

“Freedom… Why must all of you have been given the ocean of freedom while I am trapped in a cage – locked and unable to escape?” – Wilfred talking about freedom.

“Ah… Bree… The Land of Brigands and Crime… What? That’s it. Bree’s not some heaven, kid.” Wilfred talking to a foreigner.
