Gallanphor was once a proud Champion of Lorien, guarding the forest borders of the Dream Land for many a year. He struck up good friendships with the race of Men, primarily those of the Dunedain who patrolled nearby.

Many years ago, around the lifespan of your average Man, Gallanphor's beloved wife was part of a small group of Elves foraging for fruits on the outskirts of the forests of Lothlorien. None of the group returned. All that remained were splatters of Elf-blood on the trees nearby their last known locations.

One or two of the known party members have since been found, deceased. The group were assumed slaughtered by nearby enemies of Lorien - perhaps dwarves, perhaps orcs, none yet know.

From then on, Gallanphor went into Exile from his homeland. Some say this was due to the painful memories of the forests, some say it was from the shame of not being able to protect his beloved soulmate.

Rumours now suggest he holds refuge in a cabin within woods in the territory of Men, perhaps posing as a Man himself to protect his identity.
