| Kinship |
| Outward Appearance | Height: Thindhest stands tall at 6 ft, 5 in. Most assume that through the use of his power he has subsequently come to alter his body, improving upon the design of Man. Build: He is tall, and lean. Though one would not think him too strong upon seeing him, any that cross him will learn otherwise. Hair Length/Colour: His hair is long, and black, curling at its ends. Distinguishing Marks, etc: Thindhest bears far too many scars and open wounds to be aptly described. Most of these he did to himself. Appearance: Seemingly a demon coughed forth from the dark corners of Mordor, Thindhest bears a most frightening image. Donning black robes and dark cloaks, an iron crown rests upon his head, declaring of his allegiance to Angmar and to the Eye. He is tall, and his skin is a sickly pale colour and marked with self inflicted wounds. His lips are thin, and large sores are apparent upon them. His eyes are dark and lifeless, and most might find his calculating stare frightening or intimidating. Yet his most disturbing trait is his laugh. High and thin, but ringing with a dark insanity, it punctuates nearly his every sentence. Behaviour: Thindhest usually plays to a sense of theatricality, being overly histrionic in his presentation and speech. But, he is known to appear humble before Sauron or his more trusted of minions. Quirks/Eccentricities: He often twirls his hands in a dramatic fashion when he makes to speak of important matters. He also rolls his 'R's to a ridiculous extent, seemingly to savour the debilitating effects it has on any audience nearby. When he becomes angry, he will bite through his lips and claw at his chin until he draws blood. Religion: Thindhest worships Sauron (whom he names "Lugburz"), and the "Titan-God" Melkor. Education: "The knowledge of man pales in comparison to the wisdom my lord has imparted on me." Language(s): Black Speech, Westron, and an ancient dialect know only the darkest of souls: "Shrieking Tongue" Weapons (If any): He usually bears a cruelly shaped, and crudely forged sword, designed to torture rather than kill. In addition to that, he also brings with him an Angmarim crossbow, equipped with bolts dipped into a paralyzing toxin. Position/Occupation: Due to his dedication and loyalty to Sauron, he has been made one of his captains and one of his emissaries. |

Background
Thindhest's origins are unknown, though it is obvious that he is kin to the Black Numenoreans. If aught may be learned from hearsay, then his service to Sauron has granted him great strength and dark power. Use of this power has broken his mind, and made him a slave to do its will. There are rumours of his influence in lands far and wide. Yet, of late, he has come to Bree, seeking to recruit from the local population of brigands, bandits, and other such criminal folk. He has only encountered one problem: The Order of the Elanor. These Knights have laid low many that he would convert, and have provoked his anger. He will destroy them, if he can...
Amongst Men and Elves he is known as "Thindhest, the Pale Captain". By Orcs and other such underlings, he is labelled "Zurtriin, the Man of Mad Laughter".
