This made him a suitable match for the Lady Glorria of House Austelain, who's father had a reputable name but a habit of spending his treasury on extravagances rather than planning long-term. Because of this circumstance, Emion was an eligible suitor for Lady Glorria. Due to their marriage, he was able to form House Dourthe under his now noble bloodline. Emion is a tanned, slim, Gondorian man. Perhaps his most prominent feature is his emerald eyes, which seem to never miss a beat. His face is slender, and as a result his facial structure is defined. Any woman would agree that he's handsome. Atop his handsome face lies a thin dark beard. It always is meticulously trimmed and oiled. As for clothing, Emion dresses himself in fine silks and gems in order to flaunt his wealth to the world. One of his outfits would cost around the same as it would for a Bree-lander to eat for two months, and he never re-wears his outfits. |

Background
Emion and Alduin were brought up in the White City of Gondor. They traveled around with their father who was a merchant, selling various goods. His father was an honest merchant and for that reason he lost more coin than he gained. Emion learned the ways of trade after watching his father get ripped off so many times. Eventually a time came when their father good support them no longer and left in the night. The two brothers traveled around Gondor begging and stealing, Emion did most of the thinking and planning and Alduin protected him. A day came years later when Emion did not want to stay in the White City for he had become infamous. Alduin had already taken up a position within the watch and was likely up for a promotion. And so, the two brothers parted ways.
Emion began trading all over middle earth and eventually found himself in Bree, a less than flattering town with no lack of crime. He soon learned that knowledge is just as good as gold sometimes and he began to do some less than honorable dealings, one including a specific seductress, Myra. The two of them formed a lucrative business gathering information in high places and selling it to others who wanted it. It was a foolproof system at first, the two were never suspected of any sort of foul play because of their ability to talk their way into people's good graces. However, as a result of something that Emion still isn't aware of, Myra was killed. Raped and then stabbed twenty-three times. Emion quickly gave up selling the information, cutting off the loose ends who may have attempted to twist his arm, and began anew.
This is when he entered the service of Lord Gerwolf. Mainly, he was an ambassador, meeting with various political figures and hammering out deals and treaties that best suited the interests of Lord Gerwolf. He was very good at his job and so it didn't take him long to become Gerwolf's head ambassador, trusted to speak with his authority. However, when he was meeting with Lord Garwick of House Almore in Gondor, his past caught up to him. A skilled assassin found his way to his room. By some miracle, Emion was able to fight him long enough for the guards to enter and kill him. While he was alive, Emion sustained major injuries. He sent a letter to his brother, Alduin, telling him of this and the two brothers and Emion's guards began the descent from Gondor to Bree. Emion was attacked again by a group of three assassins on the road. They killed four of Emion's six guards and wounded Emion yet again. Alduin was also minorly inujured. All of them would have died if not for Lord Gerwolf, who taken it upon himself to ride out to them after the news of the earlier attempt on Emion's life. The Lord and four riders cut down the last and most skilled assassin and aided Emion back to Bree. After his recovery, Emion has become devoted to learning how to defend himself with something either than his tongue.
It wasn't long after Emion had recovered that he was introduced to Lady Glorria of House Austelain. The two hit it off, Emion was sweet and charming and always seemed to say the right thing. Glorria had fallen head over heels in love. Emion saw Glorria as nothing more than a means of furthering himself politically. By the law of nobility, if he were to court her that would turn their joint blood noble, allowing him to create his own noble house. After months of meetings with Glorria, Emion met her father, who, after one conversation, agreed to allow the two to be wed. You see, Emion had thrice the treasury Glorria's father did despite his lack of nobility. It was in her father's best interest to gain some strong financial aid. And with that, the two were wed.
It was then that Emion began to mistreat his newly wed wife. He no longer paid attention to her and the only time he interacted with her is when he claimed his right as a husband at night. Before long she was with child, the heir that Emion had married her for. His legacy. But the Lady Glorria did not feel the same way, she felt alone, abandoned by the man she had thought loved her. Even her handmaiden's and the guards didn't have proper conversations with her, due to fear of her husband. Just before the baby came, about eight months into their marriage, Glorria decided to kill herself. And she did, in front of Emion.
The death of his wife made him an alcoholic. Not because he missed her, but because his legacy, his son, was now dead. House Dourthe experienced a major decline efficiency. Emion was no longer capable of making the same decisions and meeting the same political figures he once was. This caused the treasury to run thin and some of those in House Dourthe's service to leave. Glorria's father had been sent the remainder of Glorria's worldly obsessions in the time that Emion hadn't been functioning. Instead the process had been overseen by the Captain of the Guard, Beris. The House stayed in the same stagnant lurch for six months before Emion started showing signs that he was coming back. He met with various different lords, requesting to wed their daughters. Many considered his offer, as it was concealed as to how his previous wife had died. Emion claimed that it had happened as a result of childbirth, in which the child had also died. To ensure the story remained that way, Emion had all those who had witnessed Glorria's death killed.
However, he made one mistake that cost him his life. Glorria's possessions, which had been sent to her father, contained a suicide note from Glorria herself addressed to her father. In it she explained her reasons for taking her life and this enraged her father who then summoned his men to arms. They came in the night with no regard for honor. The guards of House Dourthe were slain one by one, until all eighty of them lay dead in the town of Swerbrey. Emion emerged from his house in the midst of the battle and attempted to escape by horse. However, he was shot in the back and fell off. After a lengthy discussion with Glorria's childhood lover, Marcus, he was killed. And so, the name Dourthe faded into legend.
