His cheeks are filled with freckles and so is his nose, he has light skin and on his forehead lies a jagged, sharp scar from a close encounter with a boar. On his head is a dusty, brown top hat, around his neck is a brown, soft scarf, he wears a dirty shabby shirt with a dark brown waistcoat and black shabby trousers covered in soot, he has brown fingerless gloves as well. But this outfit is due to the fact that he is a bit poor. |

Background
Grubbs Grotto was born in Oatbaron but a few days after Grubbs' birth, his father went up north of Oatbaron but never ever came back so his mother had to bring up her child herself. And she had much difficulty in doing so since she herself was poor and had to take in any line of work in order to feed and look after her son. But one night when Grubbs was around nine years, his mother died for reasons that is not known to Grubbs but it was rumored that she strayed too far away from Oatbaron and died from wolves. So he was orphaned right there as a young lad, he ended up running away from home as he was scared and lonely.
After quite a bit of trouble and adventure - he ended up in Budgeford where he ended up being a farmer's farmhand and helped with his farm earning himself a bit of money - he worked there for a couple of years. But when he was around sixteen years old - he's discovered that he had a talent for music while messing around on the farmer's lute. He had a thought that he could be a bard so he quit being a farmhand and started traveling and playing music whenever he could to raise a bit of money. But as time grew on, he played much less and traveled more so he ended up being poor once again. But at his side, he didn't care that he was poor - he just explored quite a bit of the Shire and then unto Bree lands - he did this for a couple for years until he was around twenty-two years of age.
He returned to the Shire feeling somewhat lonely -although he loved all those years of exploring and traveling he felt so very alone. He wanted a friend and he never had one being somewhat queer and shy towards other hobbits but he didn't quite know how to so he just 'bit' down his loneliness and simply traveled around the Shire. He did get a friend or two eventually although that was by pure luck. Not knowing what to do since he's long gave up on his bard dream and he quite explored quite a bit of the Shire so he went back up north to Oatbaron to live there once again. He dwelt there for some time before wandering around aimlessly for something exciting to do.
