Background

Cuiviénen, Y.T. 1050.

Morthalic wandered the mountains The wind was cold and chilly. He was shrouded in darkness. Above him, high up in the sky, the stars were shining softy, being the only light he had. The elf wandered further, now going straight upwards on a small path. He heard shouts from far below him, near the bay, a light shone through the darkness, so very small, and yet beautiful as the star-lit lakes. It was Oromë. He summoned the elves of Middle-Earth to follow him to Valinor, in the west. The Elves took the Great Journey. All of them, accept the Avari, living in the east. Not even Morthalic was close enough to see what that light in the darkness was. While the elves had arrived in the Undying Lands. Melkor started to tell rumours about the Valar, and their land in the east. Terrified by the horrific, gruesome and scary lies of the fallen Ainur. Morthalic became suspicious of the Valar, and defied them. Even on this very day, now the moon and the sun are flying high above Middle-Earth. Morthalic still believes the lies, told him in his younger days...
