Background
Born in Bree, Meriya always preferred travelling out into the surrounding fields and exploring the hills. She would disappear for days, scaring her parents, and watching any animals she found. When in Bree, she would follow the scholars and hide in their meetings, wanting to learn everything she could find about nature.
As a young adult, she began travelling further, mainly through the Shire, cooking for parties to support herself. On her return to Bree from Evendim, she became part of the Red Company, the kin which she is now devoted to.
Her passion for nature remains strong, as does her lust for travelling. Her dream is to reach Lorien, though she doubts she will ever be able to. Yet she can still often be found happy in the Pony, with a glass of cider in her hand.
