| Outward Appearance | Derathon is somewhat average when compared to other men of the regions within and near Rohan. When it comes to upper-body strenght, he has not much more of it that most other fighting men. His face is rather place, except a large scar, caused by a blade, running down from his forehead to his chin. His skin is light and his hair is a somewhat light type of brown. He is usually seen in a travelworn hauberk along with used boots and gloves. His weapon of choice is a one-handed axe made in the style favoured by the men of Rohan. |

Background
Born around twenty-four to twenty-six years to a Drúedain female named Deonyn and a man of Rohan in the Drúadan Forest, South-East of Edoras and North-West of Gondor just below the White Mountains. During his early years he was brought around Rohan with his mothers as she attempted to find the man that had fathered him. Failing at this, they returned to Drúadan Forest when Derathon was around age eight. Shortly after ariving he was allowed come up to the beacon of Eilenach and ended up being a part-time beacon guardian. The rest of the time was mostly spent as a guard to his village, other than a few trips out into the Rittenmarks of Rohan from time to time.
