Belegaran's journal, Sixth entry

The passing of another week and both Baby Lu and Baby Bel are doing wonderful, with each passing day they both seem to smile more at their Mummy and Daddy and I can hardly wait until they both start crawling around our house and start calling us Mummy and Daddy. Yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. Lu went out shopping yesterday and she was away for quite a while. She seemed all excited when she returned home and of course I was very curious how her day went when I noticed her expression. However what Lu told me shortly afterwards did not ever occur within my mind – Lu told me she walked through Beggar’s alley in Bree and came upon two orphans and a guardian. The orphans were named Isadora and Jeremy Berryton and the guardian was named Maud.. I thought that was an odd name for someone residing in Bree and it did not sound as someone from Gondor or The Mark either. All the same.. Lu actually took the two orphans from Bree and she told me they were residing with one of our workers in one of our houses, as she is our tenant also. I was deeply surprised by Lu’s action, but she apparently was deeply surprised by my reaction. Well I spoke my mind to Lu about taking the orphans and needless to say I disagreed to keep the orphans. We had quite the discussion and bicker about them orphans and eventually I took Isadora and Jeremy Berryton back to their guardian named Maud in Beggar’s alley while Lu was cooking a beef stew – which tasted magnificent I might add. After I returned and we had our dinner Lu and I talked about what lay ahead of us and thinking back it makes me glad that both of us are able to speak our minds freely when we do not agree with one and other. *smiles as he closes his journal*
