A request from the Kinn Lai

A message was received by the Warband to meet in Imladris with members of the Kinn Lai. The meeting was arranged and so attended Elisbeth Starfire, Tur of the Warband and her lead Warder Khalis Imieran. The Kinn Lai are known to Warband and Imladris but details are vague.

As so the day came when Timandhris of the Kinn Lai greeted them in the Hall of Fire in the House of Lord Elrond. The warrior of the Kinn Lai was in the company of another named Cyraun. They spoke of a plan to undertake a journey to the north to the lands many call Forochel to icy bay there mentioned in their own history. But what caught the attention of Elisbeth was the mention of their plan to take the Iron Span fortress which lay in the hands of the Angmarim. They outlined a vague plan to take and hold the span and to base their activities of of that location.

But Elisbeth's thoughts were not so much on the lack of detail to their plan but to the object that lay at the far reaches of the Iron Span. That object was one of the ancient stones which had arisen across the westlands. The concerns of Imladris had seen a small warband fellowship travel to the Iron Span to infiltrate its reaches and investigate the ancient stone.

Upon reading their report Lord Elrond had asked the Lady Elisbeth to liase with the Lossoth for he knew the warband were known to them and seek their help in keeping a watching presence on the Iron Span. Since that time outriders had kept in steady touch with those who dwelt in Suri Kyla.

The Lady Elisbeth declined the offer to escort the travelling Kinn Lai for she believed their plans to take and hold the Iron Span were lacking depth. But she sensed something else about their plans........she believed they knew of the ancient stone and that perhaps they had their own plans governing the stone. For it made no sense to breach the Iron Span when surely a better place could be found to investigate the Icy bay.
