Belegaran's journal, Fifth entry

Another week has passed then and I dare say some odd and unexpected things happened despite the week not being as eventful as previous ones. Earlier this week Lu got me another gift and it was another hat to my surprise, I really should convince her that I have plenty of hats already and I would rather not have hats in every colour. Either way – I was telling Lu I would be upstairs to change clothes, as Lu wanted me to wear the blue hat together with the blue hauberk I received recently. Well instead of saying I would change garments I accidently said I would change in to my disguise, everyone has their tongue slipping sometimes and this was no different. Good heavens above! – The moment I accidently said disguise Lu was acting all suspicious and it felt like I was interrogated, at first she would not believe I let my tongue slip. After that Lu started to act all silly saying I was a rogue, I have never been accused of anything of the likes before.. I was rather shocked. I reckon Lu shall call me a Rogue from now on also. Yesterday I received another gift from Lu, it was a blue robe to go with the silly blue hat and we had a bicker as is usual when it comes to hats and suddenly I had to tend the garden also – which came as a surprise at any rate. Thankfully Lu’s stew was absolutely marvellous, though that is hardly surprising as to me she is the best cook of Eriador. *tries to remember the blue robe, together with the blue hat which he dislikes* ____________________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________ I am currently working on some fancy things for Lu, especially as our wedding anniversary is ever getting closer. So I thought I would mention it to Lu that I have not neglected her and was working on some fancy things. She insisted I would tell her the gift at first, which I did not do of course, nor did I have any intention of telling her a hint *laughs softly as he thinks back*. I was startled when Lu started flicking some custard towards me – the cheek. Shortly afterwards we had a custard fight and it was in our house also, I reckon the cleaners shall be rather busy tomorrow after that. Our House-keeper, Mrs Applebee managed to catch us having a food fight and started scolding us *laughs as he thinks back of Mrs Applebee’s scolding*, I noticed Lu had a hard time keeping her laugh in. Aye, A very odd week indeed..
