An investigation on Bill Ferny’s susipicous activity (Part One: Bill Ferny's House)

An investigation on Bill Ferny’s susipicous activity, ordered by the Mayor of Bree.

Most Bree-folk know Bill Ferny for his foul disposition, his rotten manners, and his ill treatment of both animals and people alike. Many believe he has close ties with the Brigands both in Andrath and also the Blackwold in Chetwood, who weeks before attacked the, once wonderful, town of Achet. In recent weeks, following the event and also after the event there has been much' suspicous activity around his house and this has led to the Guards of Bree contacting me to investigate...

In my findings I can announce that I believe Bill Ferny helped plot the attack on Achet and that he holds an active roll within the Blackwolds who are threat to the inhabitants of Bree.

I can support my findings through two seperate scenarios, the first being the long strolls outside the gates of Bree during the late hours, even though I did not follow him completely on these strolls I did catch a glimpse of him leavin the Southern Gates after late watch and meeting with a rather scruffy, almost ruffian figure who led him in the direction of Chetwood with torchlight... As I had to attend breakfast and have a nice nap I missed when he arrived back at Bree but I am expecting it to be quite late, possibly late morning. These "long strolls" happened numerous times all before the attack of Achet supporting the notion that he helped plan this horrible scheme.

The second scenerio was one which I think closes my case. Both before and after the attack on Achet many ruffian type figures have been spotted in his house. These Ruffians were definantly members of organisations against Bree and many entered his house for several hours. I also found out some interesting information on what ruffian in particular, when the ruffian was walking to his place of stay in Bree, somewhere in the small, narrow lanes of Bree I managed to sneak into his pocket and found a trinket which, from my own research, comes from Evendim, from a small clan of tomb-raiders. This could mean Bill Ferny's contacts go beyond Bree-land which means he could also be playing a role in assisting the forces of Angmar, who have showed some great interest in gaining the support of the brigands across Eraidor, this however is beyond my investigation however this cannot go untouched and in the future I will most definantly carry out another investigation.

In conclusion, Bill Ferny, I believe, is guilty in assisting the Blackwolds in the attack on Achet and also, possibly, guilty for playing a significant role in bringing both the brigrands and the forces of Angmar closer together to ultimately help all of Eraidor full to the wrath of Angmar.

A further investigation must take place!
