Spiritwalk
Whither do you go earth,
Roots profound and dark?
To the deeps, the place of birth;
Delving to it's spark.
Bear me on your back my lord,
Bring me to your heart;
Deep into your darkened hoard,
Where all of life does start.
Whither do you go stream,
Running, laughing, bubbling, splashing?
Far away to catch a dream,
In the moonlight swift and flashing
Bear me on your waves my lord,
Set my anguished soul to dance,
Following the water poured;
Floating, spinning, in a trance.
Whither do you go wind?
Trembling leaves are rustling by
The trees against horizon pinned,
Over hills to end of sky.
Bear me on your wings my lord,
My forlorn soul to fly
Soaring high above the sward;
To hear my wild heart cry...
